Life is a Highway, I’m Gonna Ride it All Night Long! At the Auto Show!

This month my Dad and I went to The Philadelphia Auto Show. It reminded me of one of my favorite songs from Rascal Flatts…”Life is a Highway.”  My Dad always went with his best friend, but unfortunately because of his illness he was not able to go. Also my brother and Dad always talked about cars . Since my brother passed, I told my dad I would go with him. We saw a lot of different and expensive cars. Some brand new & really cool sport cars,  like Porsche, Maseratis, and Aston Martins, Ferrari’s, Rolls Royces, Range Rovers, Jeeps and Corvettes. I had fun snapping photos! Take your pick!

We saw the Fiat Spider that has gull wing doors…that was very cool.  I sat in a bright red Lexus sports car!  I loved it but would choose a baby blue color if I was buying!

There was also a section with some older model cars that were in perfect condition.

It was packed with lots of people so my Dad pushed me in a wheelchair to make it easy to get around. We had so much fun and I look forward to going with my dad next year.                                                      🎶🎵 🎶 SO…”If you’re going my way, I’m gonna drive it all night long.” 🎶 🎵 🎶

Villanova Wildcats Watch Party

Last month, I was looking forward to going skiing at Camel Back Mountain Resort in the Poconos, but due to heavy rains my plans changed.  Instead, I went to a Game Watching Party at Villanova to see Villanova’s Basketball team play Providence. We were in the Connelly Center, which is the cultural, recreational and social hangout for the students. We were in a room with sofas, chairs, and a large screen TV.24F0A664-DDC9-42EE-BF5B-43C6B2B698E2_1_201_a

There were also students watching on other levels and we could hear cheering on all the different floors. While watching we had drinks, snacks, and played cheese basket ball!!!

(My favorite part!) I had so much fun with all my Villanova Friends. Love hanging out with them.  And the best part was…Villanova won! Yeah WildCats!
